But sick of the WORK required to keep a beautiful lawn?
Here are some helpful hacks!
Don’t Mow Wet Grass — It’s human nature to just want to go outside and get it done, but wait until the rain stops and give it some time to dry up. Mowing wet grass takes more effort and is hard on lawnmowers. It’s far better to wait until the sun comes out.
Fake Turf For Pets — End up with a torn lawn or dead spots because of the pets? You wouldn’t be the only one. So, consider installing fake turf. This will deter pets from digging and keep mud from being tracked into the house. Plus… it’s one lawn that never needs to be mowed.
Septic Tank Plants — Have a septic tank and are sick of looking at its cover in the lawn? Cover it with a layer of mulch and some beautiful flowers. The mulch can always be moved if access to the tank is needed.
Get a Riding Lawn Mower — Sick of how long it takes to mow the lawn? While it’s a bit spendy, it might be worth the money to invest in a riding lawn mower to get more done in less time (and with less effort).
Use Salt — Salt can be used to get rid of weeds in places without plants. This is great for getting rid of weeds in a driveway or on the side of a house. But beware that salt will also kill other plants.
Hope that helps!
